Childbirth Education Series
For the Homebirthing Family

8 WEEKS LIVE

(April 4th through May 23rd)

Facilitated by
Cheyenne Lakhota of "Belly of the Moon"
& Mimilia Suray of "Bera Birth"

Have you ever yearned for
ceremony during your pregnancy and birth?

For honor and ancestral wisdom to be the compass and lens from which birth wisdom is shared?

To conceive and give birth to life is the most beautiful and powerful journey a woman can embrace. The birth continuum is a magical path filled with nuanced choice and tender discernment.

We live in times where we are inundated with information and distractions in every direction.

A time when the fragmentation from our sensorial awareness has been normalized. A time when the ritualization and invocation of ancestral wisdom has been forgotten.

The time has never been more important to reclaim the sovereign ways of birth.

A Rewilding Must Take Place.

In our modern society we have forgotten the sacredness of birth. We have forgotten that our true nature is cyclical and celestial.

Modernity has desensitized us from our inner truths, and from our wild instincts. Alluring us into a constant state of disconnect and complacency.

We have been made to fear birth, to need remedy for, to mistrust our body, our intuition, and to approach birth with critical thinking as a problem that needs solving.

This has created a fragmentation, an injury into the psyche and into our primordial instinct. However, birth is our inheritance from the intelligence of nature and the Divine.

Birth is a physical, mental, spiritual and holy experience.
Birth is primal.
Birth is entheogenic.
& To Birth in Power is to reclaim our humanness, our wildness, our instinctual responsibility as stewards of the Earth and generations to come.

The wild ancestral wisdom of our bodies' innate intelligence is alive and waiting to be Reborn.

This is THE WILD REBORN

An 8 Week Series of Reverential and Ritualistic ChildBirth Education

Mimi and Cheyenne

We are Cheyenne Lakhota & Mimilia Suray.
Two mothers walking with a hearted prayer, sowing seeds of hope for regeneration. To support mothers and families as they navigate the thresholds of becoming and to walk with those who seek to rebirth the wild ancestral ways of life, woven within the memories of our bones.

The Wild Reborn combines the beauty of both worlds; The world of information and the world of instinct.

As an invitation for families to go into the birth process with confidence, knowledge, bodily autonomy, and intimate connection with the divine wisdom within our bodies and hearts.

Where we merge ceremony and empirical physiological information for the pregnancy, birth and postpartum continuum.

The Wild Reborn is rooted in mother baby-led birth, Trust in Life and in surrendering to the Great Mystery.

She is a grounded and calm presence. Guided by Spirit and ancestral wisdom. Deeply and compassionately connected to the natural world. A student of life with gifts to give.

Cheyenne invokes the innate wisdom of body. The body that is of nature, not separate from.
Tending the thread of ancestral wisdom, that which has been woven through our DNA for time immemorial.

An honoring witness of intrinsic beauty within the whole of creation. Life, death, rebirth.

An alchemist of pain with a strong will and determined perseverance to live and encourage life.

She has found inspiration to be who she needed to become for herself , for other women walking the path into motherhood. Into the mystery of life. Into the great unknown. Into the most beautiful and sacred experience one has the honor to be a part of.

Through lived experience of two primal pregnancies and unassisted births, as well as three years of devotedly studying pregnancy, birth and postpartum under wise women mentors and traditional midwives through The Radical Birthkeeper School, The Matribirth Midwifery Institute, and the Matrona Holistic Doula Program has The Wild Reborn been birthed into being.

Joni Edelman

Joni Edelman is a traditional birthworker, educator, and guide with more than three decades of experience walking alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Her path bridges the medical system and ancestral ways of knowing, shaped by years as a labor and delivery nurse, doula, and formally trained midwife. Today, she offers grounded, non-clinical guidance rooted in physiology, intuition, and birth sovereignty, helping people navigate this transformative passage with clarity, steadiness, and trust in their own inner wisdom rather than fear or dogma.

The Wild Reborn is a Prayer for the rewilding of our species and a reclamation of our primal instincts.

Each birth offers a potent opportunity, a portal into the mysteries of creation to which we are all a part of.

From this place we birth our families forth, with integrity and reverence.
